Spotlights, often called “spots,” are compact fixtures that produce a focused, narrow beam of directional light. They can be recessed into the ceiling or surface-mounted on tracks, walls, or ceilings. Spotlights are popular for their modern appearance, flexibility, and energy efficiency—especially when using LED technology. Recessed spotlights can also be built into cabinets, shelves, stairs, or dropped ceilings, where the fixture itself is barely visible and only the beam of light is perceived.
